Suri Serano recaps the first of two preliminary sessions at the 2013 NCAA women's gymnastics Championships.

Ivana is a sophomore member of the Stanford women's gymnastics team. She is a former elite gymnast and USA Senior National team member.

She was a member of the 2007 World Championships Team that won the team gold medal. At the 2007 Pan American Games in Brazil, Ivana won team gold and a bronze in the all around. She was named as an alternate for the 2008 Beijing Olympic team. After Beijing, Ivana moved from GAGE to WOGA in Texas where she trained under coaches Valeri Liukin and Natalya Marakova.

The 2009 US Classic was Ivana's first meet since the Olympic Trials, and she placed 2nd All-Around and 1st on beam. At the 2009 Visa Championships, Hong placed 2nd all around and was selected to the 2009 USA World Championships team. At the World Championships in London, she won a bronze medal in the World beam final. A few months later, she tore her ACL in the selection camp for the 2010 American Cup which ultimately ended her elite career.
