Competition has concluded in LA at the 2013 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships with Event Finals! Suri Serano sums it all up for you.

Mackenzie was a member of the US Senior National Team from 2008-2011. As a club gymnast, she trained at Legacy Elite Gymnastics under coaches Jiani Wu and Yuejiu Li alongside her younger sister, Bridgette. Mackenzie is currently a junior at The University of Florida where she competes for the gator gymnastics team and she is majoring in Special Education.

Mackenzie, or Macko, began competing as an elite in 2007. She qualified to compete at the 2008 Olympic Trials, her first year as a senior. She was named as alternate for the 2009 World Championships. At the 2010 Visa Championships, Mackenzie placed 5th in the All Around, and during that same year, she was a member of the US World Team that traveled to Rotterdam, Netherlands and claimed the team silver medal. Additionally, Mackenzie was a member of the US team for the City of Jesolo Trophy where the team placed 1st and she was 7th in the All Around. During her elite career, Mackenzie has also been chosen for international competition in Germany, France, Japan, and Italy.

Caquatto began competing as a gator during the 2010-2011 season. During this season, she claimed a total of ten event titles- six bars, three beam, and one all around. Mackenzie made a comeback to elite gymnastics in 2011- she placed 2nd on the Uneven Bars and 4th All Around at the 2011 Visa National Championships. She was chosen to attend the selection camp for the 2011 World Championships, but unfortunately sprained both ankles at the camp.

During her sophomore season at Florida, Caquatto advanced to the NCAA uneven bars final and earned All-American honors on this event. She won, or tied for, four other uneven bars titles throughout the season.
