This week's Gymnastike OMG gives us a little of the inside scoop on the return of Olympic Gold Medalist Jordyn Wieber. Gymnastike was at Twistars filming the newest Beyond the Routine. Also Anne gives Region 5 a shout out as the Level 10 Regional Champions take place this week.
Katelyn is a junior international elite gymnast who trains at WOGA under Valeri Liukin. Katelyn qualified to the US Junior National Team at Championships in 2009. At the 2010 Visa Championships, Katelyn placed 2nd in the AA and won uneven bars. She was selected to compete at the 2012 Bumpo Cup in South Africa where she won the AA, vault and floor exercise.
In 2011, Katelyn won the AA, uneven bars, beam, and floor titles at the Visa Championships! She also placed first on floor at the City of Jesolo Trophy and was a member of the gold medal- winning team. In 2012, Ohashi was chosen to compete at the Kellogg's Pacific Rim Championships where she won the AA, uneven bars, beam, and floor titles! Team USA also won the gold medal. Watch out for this gymnast- she will surely make an impact on the sport for years to come!
