But she's using an air mat on top of a rod floor and landing in a foam pit. The angle she enters the pit would plant her square on her face if she pulled that on the floor. Undoubtedly a talented girl, but nowhere near anything to get excited about yet. Sorry. Being 12 has little to do with it. If anything, it'll make it easier for her now. Pull it off at 20 and I'll be impressed.Whereas I accept your opinion...she has never trained anything beyond a tuck full-in. This was just for fun at the end of camp...and I gotta say, I have been coaching for 23 years & even I am impressed with that, air mat & pit, or not! It is about awareness & this kids got it! Did anyone happen to mention that she has only been doing gymnastics for 6 years? Just imagine what she will be like after she has trained for another 8...triple double by age 20...that's what I say! Keep it up, Simone! |

10 minutes prior to this tumbling pass, she tried layout full-in for the first time during an open gym rotation at the Region 3 camp. Then her teammates asked if she could try the full out and she tried . . . What you are watching is her first attempt at a double double. She had never even tried it tucked. I hope this puts the cynics to rest. Now that is just awesome! |

Its sad that ppl like the guy who "wants her to do it when she is twenty" to be impressed, were allowed to buy and operate a computer. The fact that she is doing it reasonably well on her first try is IMPRESSIVE. Why dont you go buy a gymnastics manual and learn one or two things about this sport and the physics behind it. Why dont you show us some of your amazing tumbling???? It would be best to keep your tiny IQ within the confines of your house. |

Oh wow she's ripped haha.....definitely has like an 8 pack going on! She's got some great tumbling, very impressive!! Can't wait to see more of this girl, did she test for elite this year? If not I'm assuming next year, good luck Simone!! I also love how cute the other girls are at the end giving hugs to her. :) |

Why is it everytime someone makes a semi-negative comment they have to be jealous? Why can't it just be their opinion? Anyways, pretty good she has a bright future ahead. But I don't think it's rare. If ya'll have noticed almost all the gymnasts that pull big skills are around the age 12 mark. I have seen her on floor and she has INCREDIBLE power. Especially for such a little young thing. She just needs to controll it a teeny bit, and maybe work on her form a smidge and she could be even better than she already is! |

I'm sure it is a new skill for her. I don't know of anyone else that does it or has done it. Jana Bieger does something like it in her first pass on her floor routine. Give this little one some time training this skill and you just never know, she may pull it off. She's fearless right now. What you don't know is if she may be training this for the floor or for a bars dismount, or shoot, both for that matter. She just needs time and she certainly has that. |

As for me...you go girl, Nice job! Keep up the greeat work! |
