"Bars is not her strongest event, but she will get there" I have my doubts. I say that because other coaches may show up with young gymnasts who have low difficulty on bars but at least they are clean. Simone has low difficulty and is fairly sloppy.

Alicia competed three events when there were six member teams. By the time Simone is age eligible, teams will be down to five members. She will be competing against girls who have good VT, BB, and FX but also good bars.
Simone will do well in NCAA, no problem but if she wants to be a factor in elite, her coach better develop a plan of action to fix her bars.

Bars is not her strongest event, but she will get there.She is an incredible gymnast and her other events are amazing. Her tumbling is gorgeous. She needs to push out her shoulder more in those pirouettes. If anyone wants to know why she is an elite they should look at the videos just posted of her amanar and also her double layout full out. Both effortless and sky high. Alicia Sacramone competed 3 events because her bars weren't strong. Simone is really young and has a lot of time to get her bar difficulty up

Savannah you actually could be an "elite" if you wanted so long as you define that as a gymnast who competes under the elite rules. You should check out some of the other gymnasts int he world competing under the elite rules. They are not always advanced gymnasts even when they are competing in elite competitions.

Well regardless of "whyyy" she is an elite, she should have a high bar release! Unreal! Hasn't she been elite for over a year now?!!!

Bars is definitely NOT why she is an elite. You should watch her other events before you get so judgmental.

wow that was just bad....really how can she be an elite if she can barely turn a pirouette which is a level 8 skill!! this is just wrong! and why no high bar release. just a disappointment to the gymnastics world. If she can be an elite...so can I!!!
