I feel like it is a great decision to stay out of elite gymnastics. The girls who choose to take that road always end up burning out and losing their love for the sport.

I am Keeley's coach :) She is such a hard working young lady. She, like many other gymnasts, is talented but her strongest attributes are her determination to improve & to challenge herself to get better & her unbelievalbe work ethic. She is extremely self motivated & super effecient in her workouts. If you can believe it, she only trains 16 hours/week & has since she was 5 years old. But the numbers & consistency she has each day in workouts allow her to improve without getting burned out physically or mentally. We discussed the possibility of elite gymnastics, but I feel the costs were greater than the benefits for her. Right now, she is looking to stay healthy & receive a full ride scholarship to college. She is currently a sopre.

Keeley, First off thanks to your mom for emailing this awesome clip of you. Uncle Mike has been forwarding it to all of our Washington friends. We know how to brag.. I watched it about 12 times. As we watched all the videos the comments came....WOW...She's awesome....She's a beast.......I feel like I'm watching an Olympic gymnast......She can do anything...I can't believe she can do that...and that....

Keeley, I was so glad I was there to see your perfect vault!! When that 10 was posted it brought tears to my eyes. I am so proud of you and all your accomplishments, not only as a gymnast but as a person!!! Love ya!!!

Keeley is my teamate and were very close friends in order to get the feeling of how it was you had to be there to really see it. it was PHENOMinal!!!!!

This girl should be elite. She is amazing. For the record, she was AA champion as well as event champion on EVERY event at last year's JO Level 10 (first time in the history of USAG record-keeping). Go Keeley!
