Kristen has been the Head Coach of the Stanford women's gymnastics team since 2002. Kristen was the 2004 National Coach of the Year. As a gymnast, she competed collegiately for Cal where she was a three-time All-American and three-time Academic All-American, and led the Bears to their best-ever national finish (eighth in 1992). She became the first gymnast inducted into the Cal Athletic Hall of Fame, in 2008.
