Lexie is a junior international elite gymnast from Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy in Ohio where she trains under coach Mary Lee Tracy. Lexie was the 2012 Junior National Champion.
Lexie was the 2010 Nastia Liukin Cup All-Around champion and placed 2nd on vault and 7th on floor at the 2010 Visa Championships. In 2011, Lexie won vault, placed 2nd on floor and 4th AA at the Visa Championships! Also in 2011, she was chosen to compete at the City of Jesolo Trophy where she won vault and Team USA won gold. She was also chosen to compete at the Japan Junior International where she won the AA, vault, uneven bars, and floor titles.
In 2012, still a junior, Lexie was chosen to compete at the Kellogg's Pacific Rim Championships where Team USA won gold and she placed 1st on vault, 2nd AA, 4th on uneven bars and 6th on balance beam.
