When Natalie Beilstein came in as a freshman she was told she would likely never compete uneven bars. Beilstein took that as a challenge, worked hard on the event, and broke into the lineups. Four years later, Beilstein scored a career high 9.925 for this routine on Senior Night, winning the event title and helping her team defeat Iowa State.

Natalie is a member of the University of Michigan gymnastics team. As a freshman in 2010, she earned NCAA All-America first team honors on floor, became the 2010 Southeast Regional Floor Champion, and the 2010 Big 10 Vault Champion. She was also a Big Ten Freshman of the Year finalist. As a club gymnast, Natalie competed level 10 for the Butler Hy-Flyers and was a two-time national champion on floor (2006-07).
