Our Flash Back Friday Olympic Compulsory Series continues with Women's Floor Exercise. We take a look at the Floor routines from 1980 to 1996. As you will see many of the elements in the dance and tumbling cycle from one routine to another. There are some very interesting tumbling and dance elements in these routines which I feel made them both interesting to watch as well as tricky to perform. Many of these gymnasts in this video were some of the best when it came to the compulsory rounds of competition. Who was your favorite gymnast when it came to compulsory floor?

Flash Back Trivia: Which Olympic compulsory floor music was also used in the Junior Olympic Compulsory Program? What level used the olympic compulsory music?

The 1996 Olympic compulsory was also the Level 10 music from the 92-96 cycle. I believe at the time that the 84 music was used for Level 7, Level 7 was either compulsory OR optional because I competed compulsory and then they changed it so you could do either and this music was after mine. Then they got rid of the compulsory very soon after. I think it was just a short transition to optional.

1984 compulsory music was also the level 7 music in 1997.

Flashback Trivia: The 1984 olympics compulsory music in the video was definitely a compulsory music. Was it level 7 (when it was compulsory wayyy back in the day)?
