Defending World uneven bars Champion Beth Tweddle had a slight error in her bar routine in today's preliminary competition at the 2011 World Championships in Tokyo and will be absent from the event final. She did, however, advance to the floor final which she won in 2009.

2011: makes floor finals, doesn't make bars finals..

Beth is such an inspiration! She's always so positive when things don't go her way .. she's obviously disappointed but doesn't let it get her spirits down and is always looking at the bigger picture! I so hope she rocks bars in London next year and gets a medal :)
