Louis Smith of Great Britain competed 2nd up on pommel horse in today's World Championships finals. He hit his most difficult routine up until his dismount where he lost balance. His score of 15.066 managed to hold after uncharacteristic falls from other top guys. This is the third major bronze medal for Smith, matching his result from Stuttgart 2007 and the Olympics in 2008.

I happy GBR was able to get a medal after the disappointing qualification competition. I hope to see them challenging for a team medal in London.
