Happy National Gymnastics Day! This video features the very best gymnasts in the country, and arguably in the entire world. The 2015 Worlds Training Squad includes 15 talented athletes who have a shot at qualifying to the World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland at the end of October. The squad includes Simone Biles, Nia Dennis, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Brenna Dowell, Alyssa Baumann, Maddie Desch, Maggie Nichols, Rachel Gowey, Madison Kocian, Amelia Hundley, Kyla Ross, Bailie Key, Ashton Locklear, and MyKayla Skinner. These athletes will attend Worlds Selection Camp from Oct. 6-9, and the team will be decided after camp. Now, go do a cartwheel to celebrate this awesome day!

Worlds Outlook: The Quest Of Kyla Ross

Mykayla Skinner is a senior international elite gymnast who trains at Desert Lights Gymnastics in Arizona where she is coached by Lisa Spini. Mykayla is a verbal commit to the University of Utah.

Mykayla is the first woman to compete a double twisting double layout on the floor exercise doing so at the 2013 Desert Lights Fiesta Bowl Invitational.

Mykayla competed in the 2012 Visa Championship finishing 3rd on the vault and 15th in the all around competition (Sr. Division).

In 2011, won the American Classic all around title as well as finishing second on the vault and floor exercise. Qualified to the 2011 Visa Championships finishing second on the vault and tenth all around. She was named to the U.S. Junior National Team.

Competed in the 2010 Covergirl Classic and Visa Championship.
