Amelia is a member of the Junior National Team who trains at Cincinnati Gymnastics under coach Mary Lee Tracy. At the 2011 Visa Championships, Amelia placed 4th on floor, 5th AA, and 7th on uneven bars. Also in 2011, she was chosen to compete at the Japan Junior International where she placed 2nd AA, on vault and on floor, 3rd on uneven bars, and 4th on beam.
In 2012, Amelia was chosen to compete at the Kellogg's Pacific Rim Championships! Team USA won gold and Amelia placed 2nd on floor and vault in the junior division.
