I heard she had surgery recently? Does anyone know what happened? And why did she only compete three events through out the year?

Katelyn, whether you're an elite or not, you know I am a fan of yours!! You did great at state and I'm sure you'll rock regionals. Keep up the great work and I hope to talk to you soon!

Yes, she was elite in 2009 but had problems in 2010, in fact I think she only competed 1 qualifying meet in 2010, from what I can tell. Not sure what happened.. ...but it is nice to see her back!!
Maybe we will see her try elite in the future.

All I heard was that she was testing elite in was it 2009 or 2010 and then decided to just stay level 10...not sure why though. It did look like she was struggling a bit with some of the new elements she was adding to her routine to make them elite worthy. Like the jaegar on bars that we don't see anymore. I love her lines she will make a fantastic NCAA gymnast.
