USA National Team Member Paul Ruggeri on 2011

We caught up with USA Senior National team member and University of Illinois gymnast Paul Ruggeri during his preparations for the 2011 Visa Championships. Ruggeri was the alternate for the 2010 USA men's World Championships team that finished 4th in Rotterdam. Ruggeri travel and trained with the team. When he returned, he peaked again for the NCAA gymnastics season and what was supposed to be his final year at the University of Illinois. Unfortunately he suffered a season-ending injury at the 2011 Winter Cup Challenge competition, but has been granted a 5th year of collegiate competition. Ruggeri talks about his past year, lessons learned at Worlds, and how his preparations are going for the 2011 Visa Championships where he hopes to be named to the 2011 World team for Tokyo.
