My daughter made a verbal committment in the spring of her junior year,it was her #1 on her list of schools that offered her a spot on their team.She wasn't an elite gymnast just a very good level 10.After she gave them a verbal it took so much pressure off of her and she went on to enjoy her remaining time in high school.

good advice for those going through it now. Luckily I'm long done with that but I honestly didn't realize how much its changed! I imagine the stress it puts on the process to have to commit to a school so early now
