She's right about the added pressure that noise and cheers for the opposing team can have on a gymnast Hope she does well. She sure is training well.

Lindsey Puckett On The Beam Intrasquad With Distractions

If you watched any of the Auburn beam intrasquad videos, you saw the gymnast's teammates yelling, walking next to the beam, throwing pit in front of the person up on the beam... basically anything they could do to distract them. They do this to build mental toughness of the gymnasts on beam and help them mangage distractions. Lindsey talks about why they do this, and how she thinks it helps her.
