I agree. I think there are changes that should be made to draw in more spectators and build excitement for our sport - at every level, not just college. I just wonder if the people in charge will really go for it. I imagine its easier to make changes at the ncaa level than at the elite level though. Interesting proposal either way.
I disagree with him about the men. I'd like to think there is some hope there. Drastic changes need to be made on their side for sure, but I don't think "that train has left". We need to keep fighting for the men just like the women.
That is an interesting view and proposal to change the system. I also think we need to keep evolving as a sport to what is popular in order to survive. I just don't think there are enough people in power in the gymnastics world who share these views. It seems like most have a more old school way of thinking. I hope Coach Marsden stays persistant. He has the sport's best interest in mind.
