Take a "real" ballet class and learn to hold the leg up from "underneath" and stand up in the "standing leg with balance instead of muscles...... Was there "Vodka" in that water bottle? Just wondering?

She's learning the elements of the turn better, but still seems to lack the strength/flexibility to hold the static position!

we did something like that the other day at gym where we had to turn our leg over a mat, but we didn't do it from our knees. I think it would be harder like that

Full Turn, Leg At Horizontal Part 2

Patty Resnick of Boise State is full of turning drills! In Part 1, Patty showed the gymnast the drills for learning a full turn with leg at horizontal by lowering the gymnast to her knee and breaking down the skill into its various parts. In this video she focuses on the turn as a whole and she sets up a drill station to challenge the gymnast.
