It's nice, but it seems to me this would be one of the easiest parts of the kovacs to train (disclaimer: I've never done or taught anybody to do a kovacs)

I'd love to see any drills or technical discussions you can offer to teach the tap, the timing of the release, etc.

Just FYI because it's hard to see in the video, you have to make a point in the initial backdrop to tap your heels on the tramp before beginning the flips. Apparently it mimics the feeling after the tap...i don't know...haha :)

The Kovacs Kaboom

In this week's gymnastics technique video, OU gymnast David Finning shows us a drill he does on trampoline to help with the timing of the regrasp of a kovacs on high bar.
