i cant imagine how ridiculously hard it must be to come back from an ongoing back injury, a broken leg & a missed olympic dream. the girl is amazing & will do great at uga.

Gymnasts should be lean, toned, and unsluggish, with excellent core strength. Jay has said that about half of the team needs to get into better physical shape, which is pretty obvious in these vids. Shayla has core strength issues. With her fragile back it's all the more pertinent that she improve in that area.

People like you make girls... feels bad about their bodies... there's no need to talk about packing pounds as long as she can do the moves... who says all gymnasts have to be STICKS..... she's coming back from an injury and I admire her! Good Luck Shayla keep working hard!

well she has definitely packed on the pounds since she's arrived in Athens... no one can argue with that statement

that's incredibly rude and arrogant to say "she needs to work harder".... you aren't her, you aren't her coach and you aren't her teammate, therefor you have no idea what kind of effort she puts in or what she is going through coming back from her injury
