Getting Back on the Runway After a Scary Injury : Speakers & Interviews

It's really common for gymnasts to fall or get injured on a skill then develop a fear of getting back up and doing it again. So for this Mental Edge Monday we have a coach and gymnast talking about how she was overcome this fear.



Auburn junior Carmen Nelms suffered a scary injury on vault as a freshman. Her Coach Jeff Thompson talks about the injury and how he guided her to get past that, then Carmen talks about what it was like to get back on the runway for the first time after the injury.
