This past August, Coach Turoff was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame as a coach. Turoff competed for Temple University Gymnastics from 1966-69 and was the EIGL all-around and high bar champion in 1968. He earned the ECAC Scholar-Athlete Award in his senior season and graduated cum laude with a physics degree. After college, he represented the United States at the 1969 Cup of the Americas, the 1969 Maccabiah Games, the 1970 World University Games and the 1970 World Championships. |
